Simple Ideas For Teen Lunch Boxes

Packing lunches for tweenage and teenage kids can sometimes be a challenge.

My oldest recently told me that if I made his sandwich into a character one more time he'd never take his lunch to school again. Point taken. I decided to redo the way I prepared his lunches...but still create healthy meals that he would finish. Here's some of our favorites below.

Instead of a sandwich, he loves a good wrap. I just use deli lunch meat to create something hearty that will fuel him for the rest of this day. He also adores these NatureBox Dark Cocoa NomNoms {and would eat the entire bag if I let him}. Also packed in this box are grapes, tomatoes, and NatureBox Dried Fuji Apples. The silicone cups are great for separating food inside larger containers.

Leftovers always seem to go over well with my kids {except at dinnertime}. We had a little south of the border feast the night before I made this lunch. I used leftover rice and beans and added the NatureBox Guacamole Bites, tomatoes, pineapple, and NatureBox Masa Crisps.

This box was super simple to prepare {sometimes sandwiches seem like a lot of work on busy mornings}. I grabbed a muffin from the freezer {these were made with NatureBox Dried Cherries}, I also added some fresh raspberries and edamame {which my tween deems a "cool food"}. And I added NatureBox South Pacific Plantains as well as the NatureBox Honey Crunch Crisps.
